At Computing Minds, we have been branching out to work with more students around the world. We have partnered with a school in Mexico to teach STEAM classes to students. It is important to be able to teach other steam-related classes in order to provide students opportunities to achieve educational and socioeconomic mobility.
A timeline of CM from 2018- May, 2021
CM loves to teach and inspire girls about the basic fundamentals of STEAM at a young age. With their experience at Computing Minds, students will be able to go into their future with a strong base of STEAM. Additionally, it is very important that they have a positive first experience with STEAM-- which is one of the main goals of the educational service of this nonprofit organization.
During Covid, the Computing Minds educational programs have transitioned to using Zoom for tutoring online to girls age 9 to 12.
Computing Minds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Nonprofit tax ID number: 85-0659208
I started Computing Minds at 14, and I applied for nonprofit status when I was 15. My goal for Computing Minds is to bring as many educational STEAM opportunities to girls as possible. One of my favorite aspects of Computing Minds is how I am able to collaborate with many other people: whether I am teaching students or working with volunteers, there are endless opportunities for collaboration. I love being the Executive Director of CM because of the people I work with and the positive changes we have made in the United States and in Mexico.
